DuraSystem® installation systems from Duravit give bathroom planners and craftsmen the advantage of straightforward, safe installations through technology that is harmonized behind and in front of the wall. The benefit to end customers: flawless functionality and Duravit style throughout e.g. on the actuator plates. This technical harmonization is particularly important for the rimless toilets. DuraSystem® is specifically geared toward Duravit’s Rimless technology. The flush flow can be individually tuned to a pre-configured water volume that both avoids spray and ensures optimum flush action. This is achieved via settings made to the flush valve without the need to dismantle the toilet or use separate components, which saves the craftsman time and increases functional safety.

Standardized and straightforward installation
With the prefabricated installation frames, fitting can be performed quickly by one person. The open system of the DuraSystem® installation frames from Duravit not only saves time, it also affords the highest possible flexibility in the laying of all supply and waste pipes. Flattened areas enable optimum press-tool access for water connections to the rear or the side. The center mark on the frame facilitates positioning in line with the construction plan. The rule mark and the adjustable feet (0-240 mm) make height adjustment easier, adjustable wall brackets simplify depth adjustment, compensating for any unevenness. The swiveling base plate enables flexible floor fastening in CW and UW profiles of 50 and 75 cm.
Infinitely adjustable cross beams mean that the washbasin and urinal frames can be flexibly preinstalled to match the installation dimensions of the ceramics.

Solutions for toilets, urinals, washbasins and bidets
Whether in the project area or the private bathroom:
Suitable for the most common bathroom scenarios, DuraSystem® comprises fully pre-fitted installation frames for dry and wet installation. Standard features of the five DuraSystem® toilet frames include preparation for the efficient and optimum installation of Rimless® models, the four toilet frames for drywall installation and preparation for SensoWash® shower-toilet seats. Enhanced versions with hygienic flush and/or odor extraction are also available alongside the standard toilet frames. The battery-driven hygienic flush can be readily retrofitted at a later point.
Two DuraSystem® installation elements are available for urinals. The standard frame can be used both with urinals for surface-mounted flushing valves and also for waterless urinals or urinals with electronic sensor control. The frame for concealed flushing valves can be combined with the mechanical and electronic DuraSystem® actuator plates.
This comprehensive product offering reflects the current state of the art.
Additionally, Duravit has developed specific solutions for certain aspects. For instance, the three DuraSystem® washbasin frames offer easily customizable options for almost every type of washbasin. Alongside the version for standard washbasins, there is also a variant for special washbasins with a flexible wooden crossbar as well as another solution for wall-mounted fittings. The toilet frames are all SensoWash®-ready and optimized for Rimless® flushing. The extremely quiet and effective odor extraction system via the waste-pipe ventilation (which uses the extraction principle directly through the toilet) does not require a filter, meaning there are no follow-up costs. An installation frame with an innovative V-shaped cross beam for particularly stable mounting has been realized for the bidet.

Mechanical and electronic actuator plates
The high-quality DuraSystem® actuator plates continue the stylish Duravit design on the outside, too.
Actuator plates in the Duravit design are available as the mechanical variant “A1” in white plastic or high-gloss chrome as well as white glass. The intelligent functions of the “A2” electronic actuator plates bring greater comfort, freshness, and cleanness into the bathroom.
The electronic A2 actuator plate in white glass enables contact-free operation and thus meets the highest hygiene standards. Infrared proximity sensors activate the symbols when they detect movement close by. The remote control supplied enables the many convenient functions of the A2 to be set and adjusted as required: integrated hygienic flushing, auto-flush, nightlight, locking function, cleaning function, emergency power supply and odor extraction. All actuator plates are designed for dual flush systems.
The mechanical A1 urinal actuator plates are available in white plastic, high-gloss chrome and white glass. The electronic A2 actuator plates are made from vandal-proof cast zinc in white or high-gloss chrome and are supplied as a battery or mains-powered version. The remote control (supplied) can be used to set the following functions: hygienic flush, dynamic flush volume, main flush, pre-flush, cleaning function, cleaning flush.

Full solutions from a single source
Behind-the-wall installation systems ensure flawless functioning and the highest possible comfort, reliably and inconspicuously. The requirements that the system will need to satisfy both now and in the future are decided at the planning stage. For example, this will influence whether mechanical or electronic actuator plates should be selected as they each offer quite different functions.
