The Terhills Resort by Center Parcs opened just over a year ago in a beautiful natural setting close to Dilsen-Stokkem in Belgium. The luxury leisure park aims to offer its visitors a sustainable and contemporary designer experience down to the smallest detail. This concept runs consistently through the interiors of the elegant holiday homes – including the bathrooms, which feature bathroom ceramics from Duravit’s Starck 3 and D-Code ranges.


A unique holiday park with a host of leisure opportunities

The Terhills Resorts site, located at the edge of the Hoge Kempen National Park, stretches over a total area of 63 hectares. In addition to their stylish ambience, all 250 holiday homes exude a particular charm thanks to the idyllic location directly by the water. With its wide range of activities, wellness offers, and a unique natural setting, the resort can be enjoyed by families and couples alike.


Accomplished interior design and architectural concept

Luxury and modernity combined with sustainability and natural materials – these components make the resort unique compared to other Center Parcs. The combination of light wooden elements and contemporary colors such as Rust Brown or Mint Green in the resort’s interiors creates a refined and elegant design style with a feel-good ambience. The detached cottages are located directly by the lake and afford an impressive view of the surrounding natural area. Duravit products consistent with the high-quality furnishing concept were selected for the bathrooms not only of the holiday homes, but also the Country Club, which houses all central facilities and restaurants.


Timeless comfort and feel-good atmosphere in the bathroom

Users have the benefit of washbasins from the Starck 3 and D-Code ranges in the individually designed bathrooms. The sleek, subtly pared-down forms of both models perfectly reflect the timeless and contemporary holistic design of the resort. In addition to the washbasins, multiple wall-mounted Starck 3 toilets are installed at Terhills.


In harmony with nature

Sustainability and ecology are the central components of the holiday park, which is why almost half of the redeveloped site has been rededicated as a nature reserve. Sustainable materials were used for the construction of the cottages, and a floating solar park renewably generates over half of the energy consumed by the resort as a whole. Additionally, the resort plays a key role in preserving biodiversity and as such underpins its sustainable values not only through its architecture and design concept, but also by taking a responsible approach to the surrounding natural world.
