Hornberg, January 20, 2025: Duravit AG is delighted to announce the appointment of Achim Zimmermann as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Mr. Zimmermann will take charge of the global IT division with effect from April 1, 2025, and will report directly to CFO Martin Winkle.

Achim Zimmermann brings with him extensive expertise in the fields of IT and digitalization. He currently heads up Digital Innovations & Data Integration along with SAP Platform & Hosting Services at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. His core responsibilities include the development and implementation of strategies for digital transformation and data integration as well as the operation and further development of the SAP technology platform.

He also has a successful track record in various fields including digitalization, corporate development, sales, and technical consultancy, including in the SAP environment.

Achim Zimmermann’s strategic and operational expertise will play a central part in optimizing Duravit’s digital systems and processes in the long term. “We’re delighted to have recruited Achim Zimmermann to Duravit,” said Martin Winkle. “Drawing on his outstanding expertise and experience in digitalization and integration of new technologies, we can strategically embrace emerging digital opportunities, making them a cornerstone of Duravit’s future direction.”
