Created in collaboration with designer Christian Werner, the Ocavo bathroom furniture range combines a close-to-nature aesthetic with contemporary design. Each piece of furniture is a unique item, characterized by the grain of the oak. The finish of the solid wood boasts a high quality of workmanship which lends the furniture depth and a tangible warm look and feel that vividly embodies the material's natural origin. This gives rise to an atmosphere of calm and serenity which transforms the bathroom into a stylish, cozy retreat. Through the intrinsically natural character of wood, Ocavo introduces a minimalist, unadorned and authentic element into the modern home environment.

“With Ocavo, my idea was to translate the power and tranquillity of the forest into a piece of furniture: authentic, pure, and sensual. The grain, scent, and texture of oak form the basis of a design that brings clarity and adds something special to everyday life,” says Christian Werner.


Sustainable design

Ocavo boasts a clear, minimalist style which lends structure and calm to the bathroom. The three-dimensional carcass design lends the furniture depth, while tapered edges and a handle with a chamfered edge on either side add a subtle light touch. All carcasses are produced in solid wood and demonstrate high-quality craftsmanship. The straight-lined silhouette emphasizes the geometric clarity of the design and the precision workmanship. A finely lacquered surface highlights the wood's natural grain and lends the furniture an exquisite, refined air. The overall impression is of restraint, warmth and craftsmanship in perfect balance.


Solid wood with character – produced in the Black Forest

Ocavo is manufactured at the PEFC-certified furniture factory (PEFC/04-31-2357) in the Black Forest – where traditional craftsmanship, state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and modern furniture design thrive together. The oak used for the furniture originates from sustainably managed forests in Europe. The PEFC seal guarantees responsible forestry which meets the specified ecological, economic and social standards. Experienced specialists process the solid wood with the utmost care and precision. The resulting items of furniture boast excellent credentials in terms of both quality and sustainability. The combination of regional manufacture, natural materials and timeless design makes Ocavo the ideal choice for a stylish home furnished along sustainable lines.


Coordinated range offering scope for individual design

The Ocavo bathroom furniture range opens up broad scope for personal bathroom design focusing on the powerful impact of natural materials. Each of the three carefully coordinated wood tones lends the bathroom its own signature atmosphere: Natural Solid Oak exudes warmth and coziness, Light Solid Oak adds a touch of lightness and freshness to the room, while the dark character of Black Solid Oak provides a modern, elegant look and feel.
The range of vanity units can be combined with the ME by Starck ceramic washbasin or the velvety matt Vitrium washbasin in a cast mineral material. A console solution for above-counter basins opens up additional planning scope. A matching semi-tall cabinet with solid wood or glass doors provides practical storage space while also adding stylish highlights. Mirrors and mirror cabinets with solid wood frames round off the range and blend harmoniously into the overall aesthetic. The integrated LED lighting ensures uniform, atmospheric illumination.
